Description
This split pattern can be made with either elastic waist or tie waist. The split skirt pattern comes with 3 lengths (knee length, mid length and long length) to give you a comfortable and fantastic fit. The roomy side cargo pockets are optional, but I must say I have pockets in all my skirts, pants or shorts because that’s where I keep my cell phone! This split skirt is so easy to make and awesome to wear, you’ll want to plan on making several from assorted fabrics and colors.
Seam allowance is already included; seam lines and hemlines are shown for the different variations.
The downloadable PDF pattern comes with full-size pattern pieces in the size range 1X-5X.
The elastic waist split skirt pattern is designed for lightweight cotton knit, nylon or polyester fabric 50″ – 60″ wide. The downloadable PDF pattern comes with full size pattern pieces. Included are complete illustrated instructions for construction of the garments.
Sizes 1X-5X: pattern contains 5 sizes –1X (46″-48″), 2X (50″-52″), 3X (54″-56″), 4X (58″-60″), 5X (62″-64″)
Fabric and notions required for the split skirt pattern:
- Two lengths of fabric for the style you want to make (long, mid or knee length)
- Elastic to equal waist minus 1 1/2″
- Thread to match
